By definition, death is the ceasing of all functions of life. After breathing, heartbeat, and brain activity stop, the life-force gradually ceases to function in body cells. Death is the opposite of life.
Death is something very common right now. However, this won't be the case in the future. (Revelation 21:3,4)

Auron in Final Fantasy X said
"Summoners challenge the bringer of death, Sin, and die doing so. Guardians give their lives to protect their summoner. The fayth are the souls of the dead. Even the maesters of Yevon are unsent. Spira is full of death... only Sin is reborn, and then only to bring more death. It is a cycle of death, spiraling endlessly".

I can honestly say death does not scare me. I see so much misery, suffering, crime, dishonesty, greed, selfishness, brainwashing, hatred etc in the world that I just think ''how can death be such a bad thing?'' To me its seems an amazing release. Its a natural process afterall. As an atheist, I dont subject myself to any religion, I prefer to recognise and respect nature and the process of growing and enlightening my mind. I dont feel any fear when thinking of my impending death.
