Ramadan: Why people believe so deeply in a book written so long ago?

Why people think a book has all the answers? Why be so naive? Why follow a book so full of hate?

If there were a Quran with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with God in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had God (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of God come to pass, for, verily, God will not fail in His promise.

(Quran 13:31)

I think 90% of a population just follow what the rest of the people in their society are--Muslims, Christians, Sikh, Tribalism etc etc.
That's for the "born" Muslims.
The people who become Muslim usually a lot convert in prison (fact), a lot like the strict outlines of the rules of Islam, and then probably the rest of them get duped into believing the "Miracles" of the Qur'an, not knowing (or being told) that these so called miracles were originally from ancient Greece, Babylon, ancient Egypt etc.
The average convert to Islam spends just over 3 years as a Muslim.

paintings of paintings? No... The bible and all holy texts that are older than one thousand years previous are no longer something yet an edited version of the oral histories and traditions of in the past cultures.
