I grew up with only a mother
I don't have any communication with my biological father and prefer to keep it that way until he dies of AIDs
I'm not miserable though :b
I love my mom :) she has brought me up well & happy.

Mine were never together - seems my biological father had a child with a woman who had a husband (that wasn't him). Good thing death doctors weren't supported then or I would have likely been murdered. Anyway, my adoptive parents were married in 1941 and still married in 1996 when my adoptive father passed so it is safe to guess that were he still alive (my mother is 89 and quite healthy) they would still be together. Raised with two parents so I have a hard time relating to the one parent thing. Love/loved them both deeply.

no they are not together.
i lived with both my mom and my dad until i was 14.
i lived with my dad one year and with my mom another year.
i am now 16 and i'm living with my mom at the time.
