Anyone go to the Mayhem Festival? It was awesome!?

I went to the show in Mountain View, CA on the 11th and has a great time. Spent lot of time in mosh pits; Stood in line for an hour to meet Killswitch Engage, only to get denied by security. But it turned out good I met God Forbid instead (who i've seen live 4 times). My friend got a guitar pick from Matt Heavy from Trivium (they're ok, I'm not a big fan)

Cannibal Corpse put one of the best performances. Their pit was the craziest. If you call yourself a metal fan you've gotta see them live if you get the opportunity.

Slayer and Killswitch Engage put on great performances (as usual)

But I must say, I was impressed by Marilyn Manson (and I'm not a fan). Between songs he said, "What do you want to be called San Francisco or Mountain View?" (Most of the bands kept trippin out about the city location. on shirts and programs it says San Francisco, but they know they're not in SFC) So then Manson says, "How 'bout I call you Marilyn Manson-ville"

But even better then that was all the pretty, pretty girls that were there.

i wanted to be in sooo many mosh pits but really the only one i had time for was all that remains. it was still awesooome tho!

where were u when killswitch engage was playing? did you see all those people sleeping on the lawn?

and lol @ what marilyn manson said! but i never heard him say mansonville... i thought he said marilyn motherf***ing manson crowd??

o well anyway.... BEST concert i've ever been too!

I went there just for marilyn manson and it was AWESOME!! although the part with slayer just made me want to beat myself over the head with a sledgehammer. or beat them. but yeah, i had a great time, it was the best night of my life and MANSON WAS AWESOME! (sorry if you don't like my insulting slayer it's just musical prefferences)

Originally i was planning to go to Mayhem fest this year(i might go still) but i decided to go to summer slaghter it , and all the bands blew my f*ken mind,after necrophagist i was close to death(i moshed till my body got destroyed,it was well worth it)

I have seen cannibal corpse , and they played amazing i moshed that day too (but not as immensley like i was at summer slaughter[necrophagist])
