in my fuse box there is only 1 bar for both ground and neutral?

so I went to install a new circuit to my house. all the fuses keep blowing. Well I ran a new wire for the ac wall unit. I went to connect the wires in the fuse box and saw that there is only one bus bar for both the neutral and the ground. is this right. I thought there should be a separate one for each? thanks for the help

Ground and Neutral are always connected even when there are separate buss bars. I have seen both ways, single and separate. If this just started and all the fuses/breaker blowing you must have connected the hot side to the buss.

It is correct. The neutral and ground are connected in the box to a single bus.
