Is West Corporation a good company to work for?

I have my second interview with West Corporation tomorrow and I am trying to weigh the pro's and con's of working for this employer. I just lost my retail sales job with AT&T in June and am currently receiving unemployment benefits.

West is about 45 minutes from my home and the shift would be from 5 PM until 1:30 AM, which would mean I wouldn't arrive home until 2:00 AM or later.

The pay starts at $8.00 an hour and increases to $10.00 an hour after 30 days. I would be working 40 hours a week. I was making $11.15 per hour at AT&T and working approx. 30 hours per week.

I would be answering inbound calls from AT&T customers, so I'd use my previous knowledge of AT&T to help resolve customer issues. This would be my 2nd telemarketing job, the only difference is that my 1st one consisting of placing outbound calls for charities.

I am worried that I will not like the company or the work after I start. For this same reason, I have avoided going to 2 interviews for other companies so far because the pay was less than desirable and I am afraid to be laid-off again.

If anyone has worked for this company before, please share any and all experiences you had.
