Is it worth it to have a Vespa/Scooter in Boston?
I'm moving there soon, and it seems like a fun way to go from place to place. Any input or other scooter suggestions (I love the vintage feel, so it should have that) is really appreciated :)

You have splash protection from any yuck on the streets, a 250 will easily run at freeway speeds. You don't have many blind spots on the vehicle (heh) and it will slip out of trouble easily. Not to mention laughing at the fools complaining about gasoline prices. (I commute to/from work on three quarts of gasoline, a week.)
Downside is that it gets a bit chilly and/or wet at times; but you can dress for that. And there is the fact that if you have a collision you will be hurt.
