For those of you who are formula feeding, how much do you give your baby a day at 3 months of age? Do you have a feeding routine at this point or do you feed on demand? How much does your baby take at a sitting? THnaks.

My son will be 3 months on August 1st. He is taking about 28 to 35 ounces a day. He gets 5 ounce bottles 7 times a day (he sleeps from his 9 pm feeding until about 3 am, so he misses the 12 am feeding). He doesn't always take all 5 ounces though.
The general rule is a baby should be taking 2 ounces per pound of their weight.

When my son was 3 months (1 month ago) he had 3-4 ounces every 3 hours during the day and one bottle at night. So in total he was eating 21-28 ounces a day.
Now at 4 1/2 months he eats 6 ounces every 3 hours and twice at night so he is eating about 42 ounces of formula...it's a lot now lol.
Edit: Also my baby weighed 8lbs 5oz at birth and has followed the 50th percentile for weight since, at his 4 month vaccines he was 14lbs 15oz.

my baby is going to be 3 months in 7 days and he eats 4-5 ounces every 3-4 hours at day time and at night he sleeps all throughout the night

If i can remember right, my daughter ate about 4-5 ounces every 2 or 3 hours. I think it was about that much... i remember thinking it was wayyyy more than a baby should prob need but the doctor said it was healthy. I know that if they eat more often than 2-3 hours it causes them to puke/spit it back up cause they arent able to digest it faster than that and their bellys are still full so theres no room for more.

I always feed on demand. At that age my son had sort of set his own routine anyway. He was on "hungry baby" formula milk at that age, and was having 8oz every 3 hours.
