Okay, so I'm playing Pokemon Fire Red and I can't figure out for the life of me how to release pokemon. I've only been playing a new game for a couple hours so I'm not sure if I have to wait to learn it or something, but it's irritating me like crazy.

Go to the pokemon center and then go to the PC. When your at the PC go to Bill's PC, the spot where you keep the pokemon that are not the six in your party. (Make sure the pokemon you want to release is in the PC and not in your party.) Click on the pokemon that your going to release, and a list will come up for you to decide what you would like to do with that pokemon. Near the end of the list there is an option to RELEASE. Click on that and then you will release the pokemon!

well for one the graphics are different. In fire red you have a lot of special items and a lot more pokemon to catch compared to the original red version. You have a chance to catch the legendary dogs and birds. In the past the pokemon didn't have special abilities example: Gastly has LEVITATE which makes ground moves ineffective. You can use this device called vs seeker which wasn't in the old version that lets you fight old trainers over and over again. And in fire red there's more places to go such as the Sevi islands which you don't see in red

i dont think u can release the pokemon in ur party but if u go to ur box theres 1 in every poke center it will either say bill's pc or someones pc click on that pick withdraw pokemon (make sure you have at least one empty slot in ur party) like i said go to withdraw and select the pokemon u want to release and in the list that comes up select release

on the pc click deposit on what ever pokemon and it will show you a list of options you should see release click it ,it shouldsay if you are sure click yes then you're done
