Why did God intelligently design the human chromosome 2 to have a telomere in the middle?

Did he want it to appear as if it came from the fusion of two ancestral chromosomes that are still separate in our primate cousins?

He did it to test our faith, because omniscience means you have to do a lot of testing.

No, that can't be it. Oh, I know! The telomere has a function that scientists haven't discovered, and he couldn't have done it any other way.

Of course. It´s the same old "I guess I´ll bury some fake dinosaur bones for a laugh" trick again.

The hypothesis that the fusion of two of the ancestor's (24) chromosomes created chromosome 2 in people has solid info in help of it. Oops, sorry. God did it (although that is quite the fusion of two ancestral chromosomes) .
