Billy got 6 years. Any thoughts?

Billy Lane was sentenced to 6 years in prison plus 3 years probation in his DUI vehicular manslaughter case. He also got a lifetime suspension of his license.

Never gets to ride a bike again. Ever. Not legally, anyway.

Got any thoughts? Comments?

Do you think he will go back to building bikes?

What's going to happen to the folks at the shop and the store?

Will this have an effect on his business?

Ah gee, at least Billy still has a life. What about the person he killed. To me it don't matter if the weapon is a loaded gun, a knife or a vehicle, if you haul me off in a body bag.

Maybe Billy can spend his time in prison thinking about the life he took because he mistook the PRIVILEGE of driving for a right to drive no matter what condition he was in.

I think he got off light ... If you hit me you better kill me cause yes i am armed and not afraid of jail and i am gonna shoot the sucker dead that runs into me so yes i think billy got off real easy .. Go to the victems wife/girlfriend ..kids ..mom and dad .. and ask them what billy should have had ...I knew a guy that crossed the yellow line hit a bike head on and killed the rider while he was reaching for a cup of coffee.. and he didn't do a day in jail ... you see ignorance to me is just as bad as being doped up or drunk .. I have no mercy on it

I have no problem with the jail time, or the probation. He crossed the yellow line and hit the guy on the bike head on.

Other than he should have had a worse sentance?

If you are going to drink and drive, then kill someone in the process, you should get nailed with life as far as i am concerned.

May the people in prison have their way with him.
