Why did 0bama tell us the post office was having a problem to convince us the government could run health care?
Why did 0bozo think that pointing out that the post office has problems would entice people to back the creation of another problem ridden government bureaucracy?
Hmm, no lib responses. Must be too hard or too embarrassing for them to respond.

Give him a break.............if he can campaign in 57 states then he can have the opinion that the Post Office is a shining example of excellent government run programs.
Obama was responding directly to a concern that the government option would drive the private insurers out of business. He used the example of the Post Office versus FedEx and UPS. The analogy is not so hard to understand if you actually took the time to think about it rather than immediately jumping to spout criticisms of President Obama.
He went off script and stopped reading TOTUS. ( Teleprompter of the US). He says something silly every time he leaves TOTUS and ad libs. Here is what TOTUS had to say about it in his blog.

What a day in New Hampshire. Big Guy decides to ad lib one of his patented comparative examples to simply things for the simple country folk we were talking to today, and he goes off script to do it. Wow.
Of course, comparing Big O's health care plan to the post office makes sense ... if you're talking about the dead letter office. That'll teach him to go off script.
I cannot tell you why Obama would use such a lame example, other than say he spoke stupidly. At the start of his term I would have expected that comment to come from Biden not Obama. Guess, I gave him to much credit.
