Why do Vikings fans feel that Brett Favre is the 'answer'?

Favre STILL isn't 100% and the 2009 version is not the same as the 1999 version. Lets face it, Favre's best days are behind him.

Granted Favre may be the best QB the Vikes have right now but why do they feel he's the 'answer'?

You're absolutely right, Favre does make the Vikings a threat no doubt, but if you look at the last few years Favre is far from his prime, he'll get the Vikes to the playoffs but its only a matter of time before he implodes and costs the Vikings a Super Bowl berth

Because in 2008 with two below average QB's the Vikes won the NFC North & lost to a very good Philly team in the playoffs. With Favre's leadership & him being better than a below average QB they will have all kinds of chances this year to do big things.

They have the best running back in the NFL & one of the top 5 defenses in the NFL. Look what Kurt Warner coming into his own did for Arizona. Arizona's WR's are better than Minnesota's but Minnesota's two running backs Peterson & Taylor are both better than anyone Arizona has & Minnesota's defense is better.

Favre will get them to the playoffs & if healthy they have just as good as chance as any other team!!! I'm sure no one had Arizona going to the Superbowl at this time last year!!!

I hope! It's the second time he gets out of retirement! This one wasn't hard to conclude.

You know, Montreal (hockey)fans felt Koivu was the answer when he led the league on the score boards. After injuries and decease; love and hate; win and lost; Montreal yet waited for a Stanley cup from their Captain. Now, ten years after his nomination he signed somewhere else and everyone said: I wanted him to leave for a long time.

Like and dislike aren't logic and the vast majority of people on Earth don't even understand the difference between a fact and a judgement. I used it as a fact, but this line is a judgement and is purely illogical and worthless. But yet, your reaction was either:
Agreeing without any reason
Making an opposite answer

But, the ideal reaction: thinking about where's the explanation, where are the facts; this one, you didn't even thought about it for one second.

The point is that I can manipulate your thoughts with stylistic and giving impressions. Lawyers based their argumentation on this. Just listen them and you'll see they purposely avoid to mention facts neutraly like they should.

Vikings fan probably have some light arguments and well "re-looked" facts like the one I have made up higher and they present it as truth. Why? Because instead of lookign for the right answer, they are looking for their answer to be true.

What's funny with stupidity as well as illogical thoughts is that the victim cannot see they are actually the one who is blind.

i actually think it's a great move. that is if he stays healthy and isn't a media distraction, but the vikings are gonn have a great team this year, they will probably have the fastest team in the NFL which won't hurt and they drafted really well in my opinion, but they lack exprience which everyone knows that Favre has, and of course brett isn't what he use to be but when the time comes he won't disapoint. I say around 15 touchdown passes and around 25 interceptions. and u can't forget about their all-star running back

I hope Favre goes down right away. then the Vikes are sitting good because he can then mentor Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson. Favre or no Favre, Vikings are an elite team.
