Will I need to have Leopard installed on my Mac before I install Snow Leopard?

I want to clean up my hard drive before I install Snow Leopard, but my Mac is a 1st Gen Intel that came with Tiger. Will I need to have to reboot my computer to Tiger first before I upgrade to Snow Leopard, or can I just reboot right now (Leopard) to Snow Leopard?

Not sure if I understand ... are you asking if you can install Snow Leopard on top of Leopard? The answer is YES. In fact, the $30 upgrade price is only for computers running Leopard. Otherwise, you would need to buy the full version for $150 or so.
