Bios does not recognize HD. DRIVERS Maxtor 60GB HD 6Y060LO. Trying to install XP Pro.?

Question

Gets to the point to press F6 for RAID driver.  Click & insert SeaTools floppy.  Gets to a point INI file textsetup.sif is corrupt or missing.  Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.
Seagate has not updated database.  Sea Tools has effect on installation.  Chipset Ardent C5-C1 875UK.  Drivers don't seem to have any effect on installation.

The only people I know that can possibly help is the magazine www.pc-actual.com  But the only catch is their in spanish I don't know if their magazine is in English?

Just looking back on my notes from 4 years ago.  Same problem, same OS, same HDD.  According to my notes it appears I had faulty RAM.  Changed the RAM and it installed XP PRO
