Why won't my ISO's play?

I hacked it with a magic stick and Pandora's battery. I downloaded from piratebay.org, extracted file and it became an ISO file. Then I put it in the ISO folder, located in the root menu. Next, I turned it on and held "R", and it took me to M33 menu. Then I went to configuration and selected Sony NP9660 -NO UMD-. Yet it does not appear on the PSP.

its a problem with the ISO, try downloading from pspiso.com

i get all my psp isos from there . its better if you get a game as .cso instead of .iso. it takes up less space. you must be a member and USE THE SEARCH BEFORE MAKING A REQUEST!!

Because your a pirate.
No but no umd rarely works for me put a umd in there and run it in normal or m33. in the xmb press select and it will give you a menu and choose UMD driver

Is the ISO supposed to work like a disc?
Like say, you'd gone out and bought this (whatever it is) would it be a disc or what?
You might want to try mounting it like a disc with Daemon Tools or PowerISO and see what happens. I only use ISO's for computer games so I don't have much to tell ya. But good luck
