FOR FANTASY LEAGUE TOP PERFORMERS-- What strategy do you to draft your fantasy football team?
Now if you owned brady, lt, manning or priest in their record years and they dragged you to a championship once this isn't for you.......I want to hear from people who are consistently top four in the playoffs. Assume standard scoring W/3wr's.
Example: I go rb,wr,rb,wr ,te,wr,qb in the top 7 and try to not take anyone in a new role or injury questions. But it hasn't been working.....

1st Round - Take an RB...no matter what! 2nd Round - Compare the best RBs left with the best WRs left. Choose accordingly. 3rd Round - If you chose an RB in the second round, choose a WR. If you chose a WR, pick up an RB. 4th and 5th Rounds - Take two more receivers, unless a great QB is left (Brees, Brady, Manning)
From here on out, you just have to adapt to what's left. Don't take a TE too early, and it's always good to go deep at WR.
I think the theme here is pick your QB around the 5th round. If you take him before that you are chasing your tail the entire season with sub-par WRs and RBs. Do some mock drafts, you'll be surprised who is left for you at QB. Usually Cutler, Schaub, Ryan, McNabb... sometimes Romo, Rivers or Warner. This year I'm thinking RB/RB/WR/WR/QB/RB/TE or something similar. It takes a lot of self control around round 2-4 watching the top tier QBs go...let em!
