I'm looking for 1 or 2 side dishes to make for dinner. I ran into a HUGE sale on spices so I'm eagerly looking for dishes to make, hence the marinated chicken. But I have no clue what to serve with it!

last time i did something similar to that i did steamed veggies and rice,i did white rice and fried rice. came out very good.

Instead of making side dishes, saute the chicken (after cutting into cubes) add some oil (canola, sesame) minced garlic, chopped green onions, and your vegetable of choice to make a nice oriental stir fry.
Personally I like broccoli, or french green beans, but you can use just about any sturdy veg (cabbage, etc.)
This will simplify thing a lot.
