I encountered a certificate error in internet explorer when i tried to change my password. what should I do?

it was on www.gameinfomer.com. it said "this web site's certificate has been revoked" I looked it up. here's what i found out:

This website’s security certificate has been revoked
Do not trust this website. This error message often indicates that the security certificate was obtained or used fraudulently by the website. The encryption key that is specified in the certificate might have been compromised or the user listed in a certificate does not have authority to use it (for example, the company was sold). The certification authority that issued the certificate keeps a list of revoked certificates and that list is checked by Internet Explorer.

i have never encountered this problem before with this website.

That's pretty much it...trust to go there is entirely up to you.
Note that this technical aspect of certificates may not give the full details of why is was revoked; for instance they are pretty pricey & current economics may have just caused an end to buying one.
Many possible reasons, but the final decision would be in your court.
Google around and see if there are underlying security issues that have developed which caused the change.

it must be led to with the help of a toolbar or upload-on which you have have been given added to information superhighway Explorer. you are able to record and get rid of them with the help of kit -> take care of upload-ons (in IE7), or kit -> information superhighway suggestions -> courses tab -> take care of upload-ons... (in IE6). you additionally can run information superhighway Explorer with each and every of the upload-ons disabled: click start up -> All courses -> upload-ons -> device kit, and then click information superhighway Explorer (No upload-ons). while you're on information superhighway Explorer 6, that is well worth upgrading to 7.
