I have someone showing up on my 'family' page in Facebook that is not family?

I have an acquaintance on Facebook, she is not really even a friend. Well, when I logged on this morning, it went to the page marked as family, and I was quite surprised to see this "friend's" status updates showing up on there! I certainly did not mark her as family! I used the edit button on the family tab and checked my list....6 people were checked, and that did not include her. So I checked her name and hit ok. I refreshed the page and of course she was there, so then I went back to edit and UNchecked her name. She is STILL there! Why? Can she mark me as family and start showing up on my page? That is a little creepy. :) Anyone know what to do? I'd rather not defriend her. I have nothing against her I am just not her family!

Wow that is creepy I know on my space there are people I don't even know and I didn't give them the okay to sign them self's in my page I find that to be so rude of them they go and invite them self's I have try ed to get rid of them and no matter what I did they were still there they went as far as putting their friends on to. What they are doing their hacking in on us with out our knowledge. What I did was ask these people to leave off my page that I did not invite them and how rude they were in doing this ya some of them did remove them self's all but this one guy oh he got right down nasty to me. You know there are scammer's  that have showed up on my home page.

On my FB my family status has to be confirmed by the other person , so not sure how she has done that , if all else fails you may have to block her , i know its not the anwer but if u block her and then re invite her as a friend it should go of the profile page
