I must have done something wrong, but what? And what do I do now?
Our mobile home has wood siding. When we bought it, it hadn't been painted for many years and needed it badly. So we primed the entire thing ( walls and trim) with Kilz Premium primer. After that dried, we painted with latex acrylic paint, also the whole thing. Then we painted the trim with latex acrylic paint in a semi gloss finish.
We finished painting on Thursday. On Saturday it rained. Today is Sunday, and we find thousands of little bubbles in some areas of the trim. What did we do wrong? And what do we do now?
My husband prefers a roller, and I prefer to use a brush. So both were used - not sure what areas got which application.
OK, it's been about four hours since I noticed all the bubbles. I just looked again and apparently, as the surrounding air dried out in the morning sun, the bubbles have collapsed. I can still see a few, but nowhere near as many. So I guess the problem has solved itself - thanks for your input.
