The lens is now taking extremely blurry pictures, I have cleaned the lens with the proper lens cleaning solution, but to no avail. Wondering if I can take the lens apart to clean the interior of the lens. Screw the warranty, I will switch brands and give this one to the kids.

It's not likely the lens needing cleaning - since it'd have to be apart in the first place to get dirty inside (unless you've submerged it or something stupid like that). The most common cause, as stated above, is lens damage from a bump or being carried in a pocket and turning on in there. Kodaks are crap for build quality anyway. Get a Nikon or Canon next time.
You can check - turn it on and look at the camera from the top - do all of the sections where the lens moves look perfectly aligned with one another? If not there's your problem. If the lens isn't damaged the autofocus is likely out.
So, yes you could remove the lens, but you'd first have to remove the back of the camera, the screen, the sensor, and all the guts before you ever got to it. And then you'd have to tear the lens apart into its respective elements and clean them. Of course it's unlikely the camera would ever work again after that.

You can take it apart. You'll never us it again after you do, but you can take it apart.
The most common reason for the problem is damage, not dirt. The lens gets knocked out of alignment (not hard to do, it only takes a little bit!) and it never works properly again.
Kodak could probably fix it, but the cost would be more than the camera is worth.

Have you tried contacting Kodak with your question? I would before I ruined the camera. As far me, the only thing that I take apart is my hamburger, to salt and pepper it.
