Anyone excited about the new season of Amazing race and Survivor?? my two fav "reality shows"?

But shouldn't they be "game shows" ?? after all they are playing for money ??

For me, they are the only two I've stuck with since the beginning. At least they make some kind of sense, unlike Big Brother which is just stupid in my opinion. Can't wait for them to start. When does Amazing race begin anyway.

I use to always hate Survivor, and most reality shows, until my cable went out for half a year and it was the only thing on. Now, I have cable, and I still watch the non cable reality shows. I agree, I'll miss Big Brother. But, at least now I'll have Survivor for Thursdays and The Biggest Loser for Tuesdays. The Amazing race is okay, I've watched it a few times.

Those are my favorite "reality" (ha ha) shows too. Yes they are game shows for sure, no doubt!!
Have you checked out "The Ponderosa" footage on The Survivor website? It is fun to see.

I am counting down till Survivor, but when I watch TAR I always think of how much they must spend on each episode. I guess they have lots of costs for Survivor too. But TAR must rack it up right?

Haha...good point!

I'm really excited for Survivor...I've watched 'em all and this one should be good from what they've shown in previews. Looks like nasty Russell is going to go the way Natalie did and lie from the beginning....hopefully he goes fairly quickly!

Yeah I am glad they are coming...maybe this will help me to cope with Big Brother not being on.....I hate that it is over...I am having with-drawls!

I would even watch Natalie...no I am just kidding!
