Not ever! What an invasion of a child's privacy!
When people do things like that, it tells me that they really don't understand the complexities of adoption, since they seem to see it as some sort of joyous occasion. It is, and it isn't. There is so much pain and loss behind their joy, that it is not only tacky, and generally in poor taste, but so TOTALLY insensitive and cruel to those who are experiencing the pain.

No way.
I don't believe children have the ability to give informed consent to that loss of privacy, or can fully understand how that kind of exposure as kids may affect their adult futures someday. Besides, especially for older kids it would be way too much pressure during an already difficult transition. They don't need cameras in their faces while they get used to a new home; a new home is stressful enough, even if it's a great home.
If my children want to be on television when they're adults, I will support them wholeheartedly. While they're still children, though, absolutely not. As a parent, that's not something I would allow for my kids while they're minors under my care.
And to be quite frank, I'm not really keen on the thought of having my own personal life on public display, either.

Absolutely not.
I would never grandstand like that and for the children involved, it is a huge violation of their privacy. Adults can give consent to be on reality TV shows, children cannot.

NO! It gets edited and twisted for commercial purposes at the mercy of sponsors.
NO! There is REAL life to live. Kids need to be kids.

No. For the same reason I don't share personal details on the internet. My life is shared with family and close friends.
