Great question and thumbs up to Maurice who always does great research. This is what I came up with earlier.

1. Len Wickman 465 bouts had a record of 337-85-42
2. Reggie Strikland had 363 bouts
3. Jack Britton had 344 bouts according to the Boxing Register
4. Johnny Dundee had 335 bouts according to the Boxing Register though many claim he had close to 500.
5. Harry Greb had 299 bouts according to the Boxing Register....Show more

len wickwar had the most recorded bouts, with a record of 337-85-42 in 465 bouts.
wildcat monte apparently has 365, even though boxrec only shows 45.
reggie strickland was not far behind, he had 363 fights.
then jack britton has 349, and johnny dundee fifth with 343.

some record books say that "abe the newsboy" had over 1000 fights, but most of these were exhibitions....Show more
