just be yourself, don't change for a girl. if you feel the need to change for a girl, she isn't worth it. anyway, some girls will find your reading and drawing a sign that you are more shy and sensitive which is something that girls, or atleast decent ones, love :)

i know this sounds cruel and mean but girls normally conect on someone elses expense. by either making fun of or gossiping about a person and if the person you want to be friends with is interested in what your saying and agrees, then you probaly slowly will be able to talk about other things and become friends
