YES, you most certainly can. You can get your divorce in the COUNTY where you now are residing in. My ex divorced me living 3 states away from me in the COUNTY where he resided in. I didn't find it out for 6 yrs. after he'd done it. I called the county court house where I had an idea he was living, they informed me I had been divorced 6 yrs. prior! I sent for a "raised seal" copy of my divorce papers & now have them. They cost me $10, but at least I did get them...best to you...:)

Of course. You get divorced in the county where you presently reside.

As a rule, you need to be a legal resident of that country. There are exceptions, but few and far between (like a Mexican divorce)
