Has anyone ever tried to raise woods rabbits?

I'm talking about eastern cottontails.

They seem to do a good job raising themselves. They are delicious, though.

People take in bunnies once in a while and they become half tame, but they're still wild animals. Most States have laws against it, especially when you get into 'raising' them. Remember, there really is no need to do so. They do fine on their own in the wild. What you are actually talking about is imprisoning some.

IF you are talking about wild rabbits then you would be setting yourself up for an epic fail. Wild rabbits are meant to be in the wild and cannot live in captivity.
