Halloween Bingo - make bingo cards with different monsters and ghouls like Dracula, Frankenstein, etc. - also use popular costumes from tv etc., candy corn, pumpkins, and so on - you might want to try halloween stickers instead of writing or typing out words

This is not as messy as bobbing for apples, but just as much fun :)
String a length of clothesline or rope at close to head height for the kids. Using kite string or another strong string, tie a length of string to the stem of the apples, then tie them to the clothesline. This could also be done as a race to finish eating the apple first.

The mummy tp game is fun (for christmas give them construction paper and have them decorate one of the kids like a tree - that is hilarious!) anyhow, for halloween, groups of 4 or 5, and give each one not being mummified a roll - set a 60 second time limit - its fun to watch them go crazy trying to cover the person entirely in that short of a time!

Musical chairs to halloween tunes - if you need a good cd factory card outlet usually has some great ones for a few dollars.

People bingo - make bingo cards with stuff in the squares like brushed teeth today, likes oranges, has a dog - the kids mingle and try to get a coverall with initials in the squares from the people that they fit. Make the cards to have less than the number in the class, only one signature per person on a card forces them to find out something about someone they might not otherwise.

Decorate pumpkins (out of orange construction paper) contest - real ones might be too messy for the classroom

Monster Mash dance contest

Do a bozo-buckets type game using halloween treat pails and plastic spiders or worms or bugs

For your punch bowl, freeze red or green kool aid in plastic gloves and tie off the end, you will have creepy hands floating in the drinks then ( take the gloves off after they freeze)

Best snack is bloody baby fingers - mini hot dogs wrapped in bit of crescent roll dough at one end to look like a band aid - bake - dab a bit of ketchup on the end

Kitty litter casserole - in 9 x 13 pan, put cooked rice - top with "meatballs" shaped like turds - use some cheddar cheese and ketchup in them to get more of a true color and better shaping

Eyeball icecubes - slice green olives stuffed with pimientos and freeze in ice cube trays

Pin the nose on the pumpkin

If you need more, email me, I have tons :D

Pumkin bowling, Halloween trivia games, Halloween bingo I found these here http://partygameideas.com/halloween-games/games-list.php

What about doing a creative story - where you start a story and they finish it and read alound.

Zombie Attack - might be able to set this up inside. http://partygameideas.com/halloween-games/zombie_attack_1.php

Hope this gives you some ideas.
