try installing ram from your computer's manufacturer so they will be the ones who open the pc

ok here is simple answer.

call your manufacturer anonymously and ask them. if they say yes you can do it, then call their tech department and warranty department again. this time tell your name (get their employe id) and ask the same question.

if they say yes you can, you have the go. otherwise dont mess with it. let the manufacturer do it. depending on the company, they can void your warranty if they see a screw removed.

its better to ask the company directly rather than asking a random guy on internet.

For all those who say you can...Ever see that little sticker like piece of tape across the joints where you'd access? Break that and you void the warranty. Read your warranty folks. Will it matter? Up to you. They love to charge you for things you can do yourself.

If you want to be safe,go back to the shop that you purchase your pc.Tell them you want to add more Ram to it.So if anything happen, they have to fix it,cause you didn't do it by youself or going to other shop.

contact the seller and the maker and double check. if and whom may open the case for an upgrade. also take names and numbers for each reference so if they try to deny later you can give names and references for them.
