I posted it 2 days ago, I was recently offered to extend the expriry and it's still not showing in my category. When I go through to my profile, I can find the question, but it's not out there for anyone else to see.

Some... actually many.. questions aren't posting for public view and only stay in your profile. Seems to be happening a lot. You lose five points, have to pick a best answer, but don't get the benefit of most people seeing it. Contacts might see it and answer.

Yahoo shows the question on the main page randomly. so you cant say at what time your question appears on the main page.
however you can see this question once you browse into the section under which filed the question. ie Home > Travel > Canada > Winnipeg
