HBK's back problems???? Is it related to DX?

I've been noticing it for a month that whenever Shawn ha a match, he suffers serious back pains.....Don't u think it will turn out to be a storyline....May be Triple-h would discontinue DX for this reason and they both will feud till Wrestlemania 26 for Shawn's last WWE match {as he has already said in a radio interview that he's gonna retire from active wrestling at wrestlemania 26}

Or am i just OVER-REACTING.....did anyone else thought this????

i thought he'd continue to wrestle til he couldn't wrestle no more... apparently not ;(

anyhoo, shawn's used his back in storylines plenty of times before so there's a chance he could well do so again.

i reckon it could be hhh, as it's his friend.
cena... simply because ?
y2j would be a good bet though as his move-set is hbk based and also... jericho was the one to beat up on shawn for retiring flair so that would make a nice contradiction!

even though i don't watch wwe anymore... it won't be the same without the sexy boy.
how times change!

I know that Shawn Michaels does have legitimate back injuries, from about 1998 when he injured his back in a casket match with the undertaker, then Wrestlemania 14 was his last WWE match for 4 years.
The reason he came back was because he wanted his son to see him wrestle, so he had an "unsantioned match" with Triple H at summerslam, and then he had a few more matches, and then he was back full time!!!!

actually here's an interview which Triple H discusses Shawn Michaels returning at 7.15 to 8.15 but the whole interview is awesome anyway.

any way back to what your saying, I actually have heard a few rumours, and possible spiolers about wrestlemania 26, one of them is that Triple H is going to retire Shawn Michaels at WM 26, and the other is who the undertakers opponent at wrestlemania 26 COULD be, which is becoming very likely to happen, but i won't write it here.

His back problems began after hitting the casket during Royal Rumble '98 casket match against the Undertaker. The injury was a freak accident.

His back problems go back to a casket match he had with the Undertaker for the WWF Championship. He was tossed from the ring and landed on the edge of the casket, he left the WWF/WWE after that for about 4 years (I think) and had back surgery. The current pain could be real or could be part of a story line but he does have a legitimate back issue.
