If Jimmie doesn't win the Chase, Who will?

I think it is in the Bag for him now, but things can still change, who do you think can beat him?

The only drivers I see having any shot at beating Johnson are Gordon, Stewart and Martin. I still don't believe anyone can be Johnson. The #48 team is on an entirely different level than everyone else. It's going to take some really bad luck to keep Johnson from 4 straight championships.

If he doesn't win it, then Jeff Gordon will. And I HOPE Jeff Gordon can beat Johnson to the title. Hopefully Jimmie will have bad luck in these last 5 races, because I am just getting so tired of him winning all the time. TV ratings are way down because people are tired of him dominating everything. I am just going to stop watching NASCAR if this keeps up. The Chase system needs to be stopped or changed. Technically, Jeff Gordon has 6 career titles, Carl Edwards has one, and Jimmie only has 1.

Well given how the chase has gone for the last three years, your winner will be and always will JIMMIE JOHNSON!!!

Don't get me wrong, it would be nice to see a competition for the Sprint Cup like up til Homestead. Yet, it will never happen. Like last year, Edwards was the only person that had a chance to beat Johnson coming to Homestead. He had to lead the most laps and win the race (which he did), but Johnson had to come in like 18th or wosre...which obviously didn't happen.

So as far a someone who can beat Johnson, Gordon has the best shot, unless Martin can get a win and lead some laps in the next 5 races. Otherwise, its another (insert driver) must lead most laps and win Homestead, and Johnson must come in 20th or worse to win the championship.

Oh well, can't wait for next year, when Jimmie Johnson goes for an "unimaginable" 5 straight title!!!! Then, comes an "ungodly" 6th title. Followed by career tying 7th title, matching Petty and Earnhardt. Finally, the unreachable 8th title (also in a row) that no one has ever done...

But wait, Johnson desides to go for the homerun and gets his 9th (mind you these are all in a row) career Sprint Cup Championship...then he desides to get his 10th and finally retires with a career 10 Sprint Cup titles and 237 wins, surpassing Petty's 200.

Then in 2027, a dominating driver (insert a driver) about to start his next season, contending for his 10th title. Johnson comes out of retirement and wins another 4 titles, to take his record to 14 cup titles (keeping in mind that he will win these 4 titles in a row) effectivally destroying any attempt of ANY OTHER DRIVER beating his new career records of 14 Cup titles and 310 wins!!

Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon, or Tony Stewart.

I pray it's not in the bag for JJ. would like to see Jeff Gordon win under the new chase format. If not, go Tony.
