Where is theThermostat located in a 2004 Toyota Corolla?

most every car made follow top hose back to top of motor remove hose and housing has two bolts you remove and lift easy job most of time

scrape off old gasket replace gasket place new thermo tighten fill radiator crank run a while top off

Somewhere near where the top radiator hose joins the engine.
