Scoring for Taylor v. Abraham?

Maybe I'm gonig crazy, everyone on here, and all the writers say that Abraham was on his way to a dominating points decision before the KO with about 6 secs left. Showtime claimed that he probably had a 10-8 round when he landed that big shot that rocked Taylor - I don't know when one punch, that doesn't drop a guy, gets you 10-8, but whatever.

I scored the first 5 for Taylor clearly - then I believe the 11th was his pretty easy too. Even if you only gave him the first 4, I think the 11th was all Taylor (even the Showtime commentary seemd to agree).

So at worst it was 6-5 going into the 12th, right? Taylor says up for the last 6 seconds Abraham wins 12, its 7-5 Abraham...how is that so dominating?

- they released the score cards, one judge had Abraham up 5 points going into the 12th, one had him up 4...if you listen to the commentators Taylor needed a KO from the 6th round on. One judge had it 105-103, I could have understood that.

It wasn't a dominating victory by Abraham, but I do agree that Taylor was in the need of a KO to win.... or a couple of knockdowns in the last round to have a chance at a draw.

The knockout was an impressive performance for Arther Abraham but in no way shape or form was it dominating. What you have in this case is a knockout over shadowing the entire performance.

I don't remember my exact scorecard because i threw it away once I was finished, but Abraham wasn't dominating him. The early rounds I gave to Taylor- I felt he was the more active fighter. Abraham did come on stronger in the late rounds and at the time of the knockout i had him a head by only two rounds and it would have been three if Taylor survived.

Yea, it wasn't a dominating win for Abraham, but it was a brutal KO

I've always been a Jermain Taylor fan and was rooting for him to win...

From a non biased perspective, I gave the first 5 rounds to Taylor, but after that then the others were toss ups.....I think Taylor may have won more based on him being the most active...

I would have like to see Taylor use his right hand more...

I think that he was out of sync because of the fact that his primary goal was to not gas, so that made him reluctant to throw the right hand...

I saw Taylor win the first five. make it an even round when he got the point deducted 9/9, win the 11th.

That makes it 6 rounds to 5 for Taylor.
