Why does everyone think Ccleaner is some kind of magic cure for everything?

I'm amazed at how Ccleaner is everyone's answer to almost anything.. Is it some kind of religion or something? It's just a temp and tracks cleaner. I don't get it.

I use it all the time to clear temps, etc. I'm just saying it doesn't fix problems, And I'd never expect it to. Nor do I expect any registry cleaner to actually fix a problem or increase performance.

its not a magic cure, but it cleans the junk files from the computer and best of all does not screw up the computer.

it's simple and not as comprehensive as many of the registry cleaners out there but it works and it works well.
