help on frequent disconnection using Belkin G wireless modem router F5D7634-4?

Question

i have a belkin g wireless modem router and have some connectivity issues with it. after like every hour, i get disconnected. when i go to the web interface to manually connect it, it says im connected by i cannot visit any page. so i have to unplug the modem.router and plug it again.  next, i can bear with the slow connection while doing some casual browsing but when i start playing online games, i get disconnected due to time gaps to the game server.

i tried disabling firewall and security, but still had no luck. i had an old aztech router and using the dsl modem from the ISP and i have no issues but when i used this modem router, things started to be off. 

any tips? suggestions? i tried submitting to belkin's support center but they did not answer.  how can i address these problems?

Check the DHCP server lease time and see if you can increase it to like 3 weeks or more.

try running a rj45 (blue / grey modem)cable directly from router to computer and see if you still have drop outs or speed trouble 

if speed trouble still persists make sure you have security set up on router so no one else can use your internet connection thus slowing it down also check your computer for spyware with spybot or malwarebytes  clean out bugs in computer

connection drop outs can be a signal issue see how strong your signal is before and when  it drops out move your cordless phones sometimes they can interfere with the 2.4ghz signal

make sure you try running the direct cable first if it drops out its a problem with your internet provider

could be that someone close to you has their router on the same channel and the signal gets mixed up, try chaning the channel and see it that helps
