If Obama can admit that government-run anything(post office, healthcare, etc.) sucks, why can't his supporters?

He said that to address the fears that the government will force private enterprise to go out of business, to make the point that they both can co-exist in this country and make money, and private enterprise does not have to be afraid of losing business to the post office since FedEx (for example) does better financially than the postal service.

I'm not technically an Obama supporter, but I do have an opinion about the way that the government provides social services.

It can't provide them efficiently. Wouldn't be allowed to. Since Ronald Reagan took office in 1980 money has only been allowed to flow only one way, from the poor, working and middle classes to the rich.

As long as the richest of the rich own and control all governments and all politicians, not to mention everyone and everything else in the world, any and all government provided social services, and everything else, will suck for us and work for the rich.

It's not competence that's lacking, but compassion.

Obama and his clowns can't even provide the H1N1 vaccine without screwing it up!

They tried blaming the supplier, but it was them (Obama's people) that changed the dosage/packaging that caused the shortage.

Praise be to Obama, he can make the government efficient!

Yea! Right!!

What a bunch of 'nit-wits'!

The Government is NEVER efficient at anything!!!!!!

Because the Post Office isn't *broken*--like our health care system is right now.

That's why it needs to be REFORMED.

Your avatar reminds me of the woman thinking she was getting free mortgage paid and gas in her car, lol.

Dems will never admit that big government is a recipe for disaster.
