What you need is a repeater but they're too expensive. However you can convert a router into a repeater if it is compatible with DDWRT firmware

Here is the guide on how to make a repeater with DDWRT firmware

It depends on whether or not you airlink router can be configured as wireless bridge (some can and some cannot be configured that way). Google for "airlink wireless bridge" and add your specific model name to the search term.

As an alternative, consider buying either a PCI or USB wireless adapter for the desktop.

Your 2 in a single modem and router could desire to have an ethernet cable port on the back, plug in an ethernet cable and plug it interior the back of the different router, yet this could be very gradual, and while you're attempting to get 2 routers to wirelessly transmit information, its no longer taking place. in case you basically desire your router to deal with greater customers you are able to generally get right of entry to your router via way of browser and edit it to allow greater customers to connect.
