I don't see why they won't let you party chat in MW2. I thought the party chat was a great addition to the XBOX 360. Does anybody know why you can't party chat on multiplayer?

Tom, players not chatting in MW1 was the choice of the players. Party chat was a great option to play their game with more than two people at a time and not have to listen to verbal abuse that people dish out all the time.

i actually read this in an article. They took out party chat to stop cheating i think it was more for tournaments and stuff thats online so ppl cant talk when they die like in search and destroy. and yes they also did this so more ppl will talk and communicate and not just sit in parties cuz it can make a game very boring being super silent especially when ur wanting to know something about the game. this also brings up the "how come only on team games when even if u die u can still talk 2 others" i havent figured this part out tho they had no comments on y this was but like i said i think its just to open up communications from one player to another because cmon dont u hate when ur getting killed from behind and every1 is in party chat so u cant hear them say were that person is?
yes i agree with you but they did it to stop cheating basically. Hopefully they might think twice about it, I love parties too. They also might have done it because once parties came out no one talked in MW1 anymore and they want more people to discuss mw2 at its release?
