i have a new ipod touch, and i wanted to make an itunes account on my laptop, however, im getting a new laptop, so will i be able to delete the account on my old laptop, and make a new 1 on my new laptop? I always thought that once you make an account on one computer with the ipod, you cant make another with the same ipod (deleting the old account)

You can still use the same account on a different computer. You just have to sign-in and authorize your laptop to play your iTunes files. But, once you get your new laptop you need to transfer all of your iTunes files before you sync your iPod with it. And don't forget to deauthorize your old laptop if you plan to use it again.

Actually, you can log out the iTunes account in the old laotop, then you can log in the iTunes account on the new laptop. One iPod can sync with up to 5 computers.

Could you clarify what your trying to do your obtuse account can be authorized on multiple computer and multiple accounts on the same compter.
But you can't sync one iPod with the diffrent computers
