Where to watch the meteor shower near SLC, UT?

So tomorrow night is our opportunity to see the Leonids - several dozen meteors per hour, they say...

Is there someone from Salt Lake or from Utah who can make a recommendation to me? I was thinking that Guardsman Pass would be ideal, but it's been snowing lately and the road officially closed a few weeks ago... I know there have to be a ton of places where I can escape light pollution and get a good view of as much of the sky as possible -- but where do you recommend?

Should I drive west on 80 and find a place to pull off in the salt flats? Should I drive south on 15 and find a place there? Or should I head out past Park City on or near 40 and find a place up at a higher elevation?

Pretty any place away from the city and the lights. Heading toward the salt flats would be good as there is little light pollution out that way. I don't think it really matters which way you go, N, S, W, or E, just make sure it's dark and preferably open sky, no close mountains, to get the best view.
