You know 'hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle....'. I believe the dish ran away with the spoon in the end. Where did they run to? Where are they now? Why did they run away? These questions have been vexing me since childhood.

i have thought on this many times before and come to these conclusions....
they ran down the lane and just kept running together forever and ever and ever..cause dishes and spoons just love to run...they are still running now..somewhere...but i know they're there...wherever 'there' is..
as for why they ran away..maybe they got frightened by the little dog laughing...could have been a scary laugh...or maybe they didn't want the cow to fall back down from the moon and crush them...or maybe they had been planning to leave together for sometime and it was just a huge coincidence that on the same day all these other things happened at the same time...
