I always see on here people getting these rogue security programs. How are you guys getting them, especially those of you that get them multiple times. Is it from downloads, web pages? I wonder if WOT helps in that respect.

WOT does not help that much as WOT's marks sites according their public reputation and not danger level. It is too easy to create a new site, mask site address using hosts file on infection and so on. So WOT is useless at this aspect for new infection. It still helps a bit against older ones.
I think one of the lesser though about aspects of getting cyber security and alikes is that people rely on free malwarebytes to protect their PC when there is no real time protection module in free one. That is power of advertising. It should be recommended to use superantispyware instead, or free Spyware Doctor from http://pack.google.com or Spybot S&D. Or buy product.

Alot of people are getting them from web 2.0 properties.
These include: myspace pages, facebook pages, youtube videos, etc., etc.
My sister got her computer infected with security tool by using facebook.com, it seems that it is the leading contributor.
