Most television shows take a mid-season break around the end of November-early December that generally lasts until mid-January-early February, and then continue with the second half of the season. In a standard full season there are only about 22 episodes made. So even though it's doing well, Vamp. Diaries has still already broadcast approximately half of its season's shows (the rest of which will be spaced out until the end of May, marking the season's end).

No worries, my friend. Many television shows have what they call "mid-season finales" often ending with a cliffhangar, then torturing us until new episodes return in the new year. The only adivce I have to offer is to remain steadfast and patient. Good things come to those who wait.

I think the reason for this is because its a new series. So they shot a certain amount of episodes and waited for the "reviews" i guess you can call them....if the reviews are good then they continue with the show. Since they were good and the ratings were good they are continuing the show!
