ok i only get high cpu usage when i play wow(world of warcraft) and i know it should be high because its a game well i play on max setting wit vertical sync on because my monitor max refresh rate is 60fps i get 80 to 100 with it off and 250 to 300 with it off on low setting and i have a daul core cpu and core 1 stays at 40 to 55% and core to stay at 50 to 90% and ram stay at 27% all the time..this is with max setting and i kinda play wow for long periods of time and i was wondering if it was bad on my cpu

No, that's no problem at all.
The only thing you may need to monitor is temperature. If you are a gamer, your system should be equipped with adequate cooling. The cheap fan that comes with the processor is not always up to the task. Intel processors are very self preserving. They will shut down long before they get damaged by overheating. AMD processors are less protected, but will shut down as well.
An overheating processor (fan failure) will present itself by random failures, reboots, broken graphics, etc. If your PC acts weird after a while, and it gets progressively worse until you can't even boot it. Only to find everything working fine after you let your PC cool down 60 minutes. Then you may experience overheating. You then need to go out and find a better cooling fan or other cooling system.

It also helps to keep your system clean. Remove dust from the cooling fins from time to time. But be carefull not to damage the sensitive electronics. Us a brush or canned-compressed air. Vacuum cleaners can cause static and damage your system.

No, that's what the CPU is for. A modern desktop CPU should be able to run all cores at 100% 24/7 for many years without any problem. (It may do a tiny bit of thermal throttling, but that's not a problem.)

na not a problem.

WOW at max settings is still vairly bad graphics anyway nowadays its not going to put much stress on any of your hardware.

download that it will tell you the tempretures of everything that gives you an idea of if long periods of gaming are doing damage or not. (if your temps are over 60 for cpu or if your voltage is over 1.4 for cpu be a bit worried and buy a new cooler or a new PSU)
