Why does my HDTV not seem to work on DirecTV channels?
I recently bought a Sanyo 42inch 1080p HDTV. My wife did not buy any of the HD cables so all I did was plug it in and connect the cable from the wall to the back. No other cables were connected. For my Blue Ray player the picture looks great but for all my classified HD channels the picture looks bright and somewhat blurry. Do I need to go get the HD cables that they advertise for? I have DirecTV and my HD box is in the living room but I hooked up the tv to my office for the time being and the box in there does not have an HD plug. Please help!

To watch in HD you need
a) an HD-capable set-top box b) To connect the box to the TV via either HDMI or component cables.
The HD logo on a TV program means only that the same product is broadcast in HD, but without a) and b) above, you watch it in SD.
once you call directv, ask them to look up your community channels by way of zip code, see in the event that they arrive in any respect, some aspects have been in transition from the seventy two satellite tv for pc-- yet this could be an entire different tale. in the event that they don't seem to be available, ask to talk with "distant community centers, (DNS for short) " they provide the two east and west coast feeds of locals which includes NBC, FOX, and ABC whilst locals are actually not available. definitely, the only way that i will establish your waivers being denied is that in the event that they are available. it is an quite huge and sophisticated topic, yet i visit assist in any way that i will. community stations could be a complicated topic for tech help each and every often times, so in case you won't be able to get a right this moment answer, ask for a supervisor, they are incredibly knowledgable in this subject and could inform you right this moment up the line to bypass on.
