list of question about Tuf (opinions) ?

any one else think this is the end of the road for kimbo? ok he fought a dude a weight class below him who isn't exactly known for anything more then kimbo is throwing bombs and some times they land. if kimbo goes in there with any fighter at heavy weight he wont win unless he continues to improve at a exponential rate. (agree disagree thoughts?)

roy nelson did exactly what he said he would do and proved he is here to fight though i don't believe he has proved he could be a top 5 fighter or anything like that (yet) but i think he is going to be a force. (agree disagree thoughts)

why is it that yahoo mma articles literally have nothing about roy winning but they have 3 articles about kimbo and his mediocre performance. not one says "new Ultimate fighter" not even a quick mention. i think that is ridiculous even if they wanted to do the articles for kimbo that's fine but at least say "hey roy nelson won" lol?(agree disagree thoughts)

i was/am a huge kimbo doubter but i was a little impressed that he learned some good ground game/wrestling though in my opinion it only went as well as it did for him because he was noticeable bigger then Houston. he might have cut to 212 but come fight time he was back to 230 (he noted in a article it takes no time for him to gain weight back) and Houston was 208 and that was his natural weight. that is a huge difference. (agree disagree thoughts)

all comments and answers are welcome.

they will keep Kimbo around simply for ratings, they know he's not going to beat any legitimate heavyweight, light heavyweight, and there are middleweights who would light kimbo up. They will give him fighters who are garbage like they did with Houston, they knew houston was a challenge but he's a 205 pounder who hardly cuts to make 205, Kimbo is a 230 pounder. Not a huge weight difference, but look at the two kimbo was incredibly bigger than Houston. I am impressed by Kimbo's improvement from nothing to very little.

I wanted Schuab to win, but Nelson is a very experienced fighter, with big fights under his belt, and against some game opponents.

Because Kimbo is a HUGE HUGE name people like him and think he's god's gift to the MMA world. Those clown reporters, and writers write about what the fans want to read, and see.

Kimbo was 212 lbs, Alexander was 209 lbs. So he isnt a weight class below Kimbo.
Its hard to say that its the end of the road because Kimbo is still very amateur-ish. If he could ever get lose and become a skilled fighter he could be awesome because he has the power and strength to drop anybody in the UFC. But he is so hesitant and afraid of losing that he wont attack. He needs to go back to his street fighting style. Petruzini has Slice gun shy.

You're wrong about the Y/A Roy Nelson articles. Look again, I read at least 3 articles on Roy Nelson winning.

I think Kimbo has a lot of talent. However, he is 33 I believe? That doesn't give him much time to really get exceptional at something. Other than the age I really think he can become a much better fighter that he currently is.

Roy Nelson is a pretty decent fighter. Not a top 5 like you said but he can definitely be some trouble with that belly of his.

Kimbo is just so much more popular than Roy. Kimbo could completely bomb a fight and would still be the talk of MMA. Its nothing against Roy, Kimbo just has it like that.

And honestly, when does the criticism stop for Kimbo? Kimbo came as a Mixed Martial Artist this time. He didn't fall for Houston's traps, he got TAKEDOWNS, he showed A LOT of improvement. Brock Lesnar usually fights people that are 30-50 pounds lighter than him. Thats okay though right? Kimbo is now training with American Top Team. Obviously he has to have something in him if they allowed him to train with them. Google American Top Team and look at the list of fighters Kimbo has helping him out now. Just a few names that are helping: Wilson Gouveia, Thiago Silva, Thiago Alves, Denis Kang, Marcus Aurelio, etc... With team members like that, Kimbo is learning from the best.

Yes, absolutely, put him in the ring with Antoni Hardonk or some other total loser that's actually in his weight class and he will lose, he really has nowhere to go from here but down. He should start a rap career. Or maybe he could play alongside Rampage as B.A. Barracus' brother in the next A-Team Movie.

I have serious doubts about Roy's level of fitness allowing him to stay fresh for 3 rounds against any true contender.

Because no one cares one way or another about Roy Nelson.

I really doubt that Slice managed to gain back 18 pounds since the weigh-ins. But sure, when your fighting at a catch weight the lighter guy is gonna give up some speed and stamina to gain weight and the bigger guy is gonna lose some of his power losing weight.

I like Kimbo and hope he keeps winning, but really the guy is too old to become a champ. He should have finished off Alexander, but couldn't. He's made some great improvements and he is a legit fighter in MMA, but in reality he still suck compared to Anderson Silva.
