I need to purchase a new television today but i get paid tommarow by direct deposit so can i write a check? How long does it take walmart to process checks? any help is appreciated

Walmart wouldn't accept it. Walmart like most companies now (if they still do take checks) have a machine that they put the check through before the purchase is finished. This machine runs the check and is able to notify the cashier if whether or not you have the money in your account so that they can refuse your check.
