What is/are the similarity/ies between Buddhism and Islam?

Dietary rules, morality, social rules ... what do you think? There are too little dialogues between these 2 religious traditions.Insults not welcomed.

I think that dialogue would be difficult for several reasons. One illustration of the differences would be how non-muslims are not allowed in Mecca, but anyone can go to the temple which was built on the spot of Buddha's enlightenment. Mutual acceptance is an issue.
